Factors associated with juvenile sex offending differ from those associated with adult offending and involve a complex interaction of biological, developmental, social, familial, and psychological variables., In just two hours, Dr. Sarah Shelton addresses the research, theories, clinical practice standards, and legal-ethical considerations of evaluating and treating juvenile sex offenders. In addition to her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, she possesses graduate degrees in Public Health, Forensics, and Psychopharmacology. She is an international presenter and author of peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters, and is frequently published in the popular press. Dr. Shelton founded Psychological Wellness Group, LLC in Paducah, Kentucky, and has over a decade of clinical experience. She holds multiple professorships as well as state and national level elected and appointed positions.
