Webinar Marketing Tips for Business

Posted by

Webinars are a great way to generate revenue for your business as well as educate your prospects on the services you have to offer.  However, they

Dear Facebook

are only as good as the attendance.  Poor attendance means poor results.  What can you do to begin to generate high attendance webinars?  Here are some webinar marketing tips that may be useful.

Here are a few elements that should be included in your marketing plan:

Facebook: According to Facebook’s Press Room statistics, Facebook has more than 500 million active users with 50% of these users logging on to Facebook in a day. And, each month, users spend more than 700 billion minutes on Facebook.

With that said, actively promoting your event on Facebook is a sure way to gain exposure and increase participant registration.

When you create a public event on Facebook, anyone can search for your event, even if they’re not connected with you on Facebook. In fact, according to an article recently published by the Telegraph, a 14-year-old girl in the UK sent out a birthday event / invite on Facebook that she accidentally made public.

Twenty one thousand (random) Facebook users clicked the RSVP button to attend the birthday party. Although frightening, this story illustrates the viral power of Facebook to spread awareness of events.

Aside from your event gaining publicly, it will also appear in your friends’ newsfeed and will be easy for them to view and share with others on Facebook.

Blog Widget: Because a blog sidebar is prime real estate for advertising, placing information about an upcoming event will help you gain exposure among your readers.

First, create an event button in a design program such as Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft PowerPoint. The button should stand out and have a call to action somewhere that entices blog readers to click the button. Then, go to the backend of your blog and place a Text widget into the sidebar. From here, you can link the image with your registration page (NOTE: you need some experience with HTML).

Blog Post: Inform your readership about an upcoming event with a blog post that has the date and time of your event (specify time zone, if applicable), the event title, a brief introduction, and a breakdown of what participants will learn at the event. And, if applicable, don’t forget to specify that participants must register for the event by visiting your registration page.

**NOTE: If you have an event registration page, only hyperlink words in the blog post to that registration page. This ensures that visitors don’t stray from the action you wish for them to take (registering for your event).

Email: Send an email to your list informing them about your upcoming event with a call to action and a link to the event registration or information page.

If you have an ezine, place information about your upcoming events in an obvious location on the newsletter such as above the feature article.

Affiliate Program: Depending on how big your event is, creating an affiliate program that offers cash incentives is the perfect way to increase exposure and reach new markets, since affiliates promote the event to their private lists.

Webcast/ Webinar Promotion Article: How to Promote Your Webinar Or Webcast on a Budget

First of all, you should consider starting promoting the webinar 2 to 4 weeks before the delivery date. If it’s sooner, you won’t have enough time, if it’s earlier, the impact will be diminished, since people generally need a sense of urgency in order to act on an offer.

So here are some tips and tricks on how to promote and market your webinar or webcast:

1. Publish your webinar on your blog or website
This is the first natural step. Even if you use an event management website (such as BrightTalk or EventBrite), publish it on your website or blog as well.

2. Optimize your webinar page for search engines (SEO)
Use keywords in the webinar title (however, don’t go overboard and have a 4 line title), in the first paragraph, in links and headlines. It’s also useful to make your keywords bold. Limit yourself to 4 or 5 keywords because, if there are too many keywords, your page relevance for each keywords diminishes. It’s also advised not to repeat a single keyword more than 4 times on a page, it can be considered keyword spam if you do.

3. Send a press release
If you don’t want to pay $80 to $360 to PRWeb.com, there are many sites that publish press releases for free. You can find here a list of 50 press release submission website. Don’t forget advice #2 when writing the press release.

4. Send a newsletter
If you have a subscribers list, don’t be afraid to use it. If you don’t, go to the next advice.

5. Use social media to promote it
Publish your webinar or online event on Facebook and LinkedIn (they allow events posting) and invite people from your network to your event. Post regular updates in Twitter. Post your webinar on forums in that particular field. This is a sensitive topic, you need to be a regular member and post frequently on those forums, otherwise you might be treated as a spammer. Post it on digg, reddit or StumbleUpon.

6. Publish it on website that promote webinars
There are lots of websites that promote webinars and other online events.

7. Create partnerships
Give a discounts or a number of free spots to a partner website’s members in exchange for promoting your webinar or web conference. Do cross promotions: you promote your partners’ products (books, online events or even webinars), they promote your webinars.

8. Notify your contacts
Send them an email or, better yet, place a link to the webinar in your email signature. It’s a good way to advertise a product to your contacts without being intrusive. They might just be interested in your webinar or recommend it to someone else who is interested.

9. Publish a video teaser on YouTube
YouTube is being used more and more as a search engine. It’s well indexed by Google (actually, it belongs to Google) and will help you get more visibility.

10. Start a contest
In order to generate interest (and even quality links) you can start a contest, offering either a free spot, a free product or service or anything else you thing others might value.

11. Paid advertising
And the last resort, pay for advertising:). You might use some PPC (pay per click) advertising networks such as Google AdWords.

Business Webinar Promotions Can Boost Your Sales and Increase Your Profitability

Posted by

There are many tools that businesses use to help their sales process whether it be for products or services.  Using business webinars to boost the sale of your product or service can be an effective choice of tools.  In this article, the author discusses how using business webinar promotions can really show the features of the product or service and can increase the conversion rate.  The author gives some good details as to the kind of income that can be created with these kind of webinars.  However, with most of these kinds of techniques, they fail to mention that they have already built up a big email list prior.

A business webinar is one of the most effective ways to make money online, bar-none. The absolute best conversion tool is webinars. A mail shot may convert at 3%, or a bit more if you are lucky. However, hosting webinars generally converts at more than 30% and never less than 10%. Imagine that. Getting a hundred people on a call or five hundred people on a call, and converting at never less than 10%.

Let me give you a little proof that business webinars do indeed work and work very, very well. I promote my own products through webinars. My first product that I promoted with a webinar sold over $16,200 in the first two or three days. Then I did a follow up after that first webinar, meaning I just sent out some postcard, direct mails, some phone calls, and I pulled in another $16,800. These are monthly webinars that I had after the initial launch. This was in addition to the $50,000 I made in the first week.

Then I went to different joint venture partners and presented that exact same webinar to their lists. With the same exact business webinar, I was able to make an additional $142,400 over the last five months. However, I hasten to tell you, I am not that smart. I used the same webinar and was able to generate these results. I really believe that if I can do this, then anyone can replicate what I am doing with similar results.

Webinars work like a champ. You may be thinking, well that’s great for you Steve; you have a product that sells well. Not only do I use business webinar promotions for my own products, I promote other peoples products through webinars. I recently promoted a product of a joint venture partner and together we sold over $11,000 on one webinar. When I mention these numbers, I am referring to a 2 day period that starts with a webinar and ends 2 days later. So I have not only had success with webinars with my products; they work with everybody else’s products too.

Although making money with business webinars is great, the freedom that they give me is my primary motivation for doing webinars. Business webinar promotions have allowed me to travel all over the world. They have allowed me to make an incredible income from relatively little time spent. They have allowed me to spend time with my friends that are some of the best internet marketers in the world. So my motivation for doing webinars is the freedom, and the influence that webinars give me.

Reach New Customers and New Markets With Webinars

Posted by

There are many marketing methods that allow the business owner to reach new markets or market more effectively to their current market.  Webinars are a great tool to do both.  They are especially a great tool to reach new customers because they allow the business owner to place their brand on other web sites that they normally wouldn’t be able to.  Webinars also allow the business owner to present their services in ways that articles, blogs and podcasts can’t do.  In this article, the author

Every business owner wants to make money. The business plan you follow can make all the difference in how much money you make, and how hard you have to work to make it. In the past, businesses had limited resources to make money. As the internet grows, businesses can reach an unlimited number of customers, giving them the potential for unlimited streams of income. Anyone with an internet connection in the world can be a potential customer if a business owner markets correctly. Using those potential customers to create multiple streams of income allows a business to maximize their profits, and eventually, minimize the amount of work it requires to make money.

The success of your business directly relies on your motivation to succeed. Everyone’s motivation for succeeding is different. What sets successful people apart is that their motivating factor is something they are passionate about. That passion drives people to push past obstacles and make their business work. Some people may simply want to leave a legacy and help others. Other people may want to have more time and money, and less debt. The level of work you are willing to put into your business to make it succeed will probably come down to how driven you are to reach those goals.

Webinars are a great way for businesses to reach more customers than they ever have before. Businesses can actively sell to customers in a setting that makes customers feel comfortable. Webinars allow you to help others, while generating multiple streams of income. Webinars are just beginning to gain momentum, so getting involved now could allow you to increase your potential income as webinars grow in popularity. As technology advances, webinars will only become more popular with businesses. Different languages around the world are still a barrier that keeps many businesses from reaching their maximum customer base. Technology may soon offer software that translates communication to other languages. Then, webinars will not just reach other potential customers around the world; they will reach potential customers that speak all languages as well.

The right market for webinars is important to their success. Using the power of search engines allows businesses to get exposed to the customers that are looking for the services they offer. Key words and key word phrases are how search engines determine the results of an internet search. Knowing the most popular internet searches can help you determine what the best niche for your webinars is. Niches that already have a lot of views in the search engines means the topic is in demand and your business can contribute to something people already need.

Making money in your niche depends on finding product for your target customer. Webinars allow you to market your own product, as well as other people’s product. Finding affiliates, other people who want to reach a wider audience with their product, allows you to make more money from the referral sales of another business. Both you and your affiliate profit from partnering in webinars.

Webinars offer business growth beyond any platform available before. As more people learn about webinars, businesses that got started early will see that the demand will increase further than any other business plan. Making the most of your business potential will help you meet your goals, and have the success you know you can achieve.

Need to Create a Webinar – An Overview

Posted by

Webinars are a growing strategy amongst business owners as they realize the potential it has.  Webinars are great tools for converting those ‘warm’ prospects, and even better tools for educating your clients and customers.  The price of the technology has gone down to become much more affordable as well in terms of being able to put on these online events.  This article says that the podcast is overtaking the webinar, but I don’t think so because there is only so much you can convey over a podcast.  In any case, read on and you can see what you need to focus on if you need to create a webinar for any reason.  This is the 100,000 foot view of this topic.

Due to the competitive market, webinar has probably lost track of the rivalry with Podcast. In fairness however, webinar differs from Podcast since it is conducted live. It give opportunity to its audience to provide feedback and ask questions. It is interactive just like the conventional seminars and training.

Over the internet, it is noticeable that people are used to getting entertained by webinar sessions posted on websites. As the web administrator or business entrepreneur owning the website, what you want to do is to ensure that you are creating impact adding values to your website visitors and users. Clicking on running the webinar session is an example of actions taht each user will do and should be taken advantage of. Let me discuss the key factors to consider when creating a webinar.

Obtain Webinar Software

There are Webinar software available on the Internet or Webinar hosting services, which may cost around $50. One must create a series of one webinar to save the expenses and be sure that after each webinar, are able to have the file of each session which is done so that one can give them to their subscribers if they have missed that session.

Good Preparation

Before starting the webinar, one should make a organized preparation of what the things needed are and how the webinar session is going to be like, as there as some logistics that need to be taken care of like good audio, nice background, presentation slides, and of course, a presenter. Receiving the presentation emails and other information relevant to the webinar session should be considered.

Make a Brief Description of `Webinar’

In some cases, when people are familiar with the basics of webinar but really don’t have the right information about webinar, hear an invite for a webinar session, most of them perceive webinars as sessions to sell products without realizing that it can come in many forms with different purposes. Nevertheless, to keep the audience aware and willing of your invite to attend the planned webinar session, you may want to send an invite tagged as meeting on your emails. It has been made easy for people who understand the basics of webinar presentation. Your goal is to make your target audience feel that they are part of the group hence will definitely encourage them more to attend.

NO Obvious Sales Pitches

By mentioning that one has no sales pitches in the upcoming `meeting’ in your email, people are more willing to come and learn from you. When your audience are just up to getting information, it is not wise to up sell your products. Thus, be sure to have no obvious sales pitches AT ALL in your webinar.

Generate Sales

Now, in the absence of the sales pitches, how do you think you can generate sales? The best thing to do is to include downloadable materials for the audience as take away. To gain attention, it is ideal to provide take aways for your audience. The product can be any digital materials or better yet, any affordable leaflets or something that carries information of your product. Inviting a guest speaker who has known credibility for endorsing products related to yours.

When creating a webinar, these are just simple tips that should be taken into consideration. We do business today depending much on revolutionary innovation. Unlike before when we have to provide product information face to face through leaflet distribution, marketing products is different now. You can create the desired impact of getting your products remembered by your prospects through webinar which will compel your audience to buy.
