In this article, the author seems to think that live webinars are better than recorded ones. He brings up some good points as to why that might be the case, however there are very work arounds to some of the points he brings up regarding webinar replays. In one instance, a workaround is not putting time sensitive dates in the webinar recording if you plan on using it over the next year. If you need to put in a time sensitive date, make sure it isn’t a deadline, but more of an announcement of a product or service, and refer to the date in both future and past tense. Read on for more!

Live webinars are far better than recorded or “replay” webinars that you might see marketers use for many reasons…for starters, a live webinar shows your personality better (and gets you more trust). You can adjust for technical issues going wrong on a live webinar, and you can demonstrate genuine urgency when pushing people to join your site or buy something from you.

Personality is more important than ever on the internet these days because everyone is making videos, gathering a massive social following on networking sites, and so on. If you have a sales presentation and there is a common objection, or even a few jokers and skeptics, you can adjust for this. By running live webinars, I have noticed many holes in my marketing and sales letters that I could fill up. For example, justifying the price or explaining a particular bonus that didn’t make sense previously.

Next, technical things can and do wrong when computers are involved. I have tried running a recorded webinar and the recording did not play. Another time, the audio didn’t replay correctly and I had to run the webinar live anyway. Even if you trust someone to hit that play button, or you outsource it… it’s in your best interest to be present at the webinar so you can adjust if something goes wrong. Your screen might not show correctly, the audio might not look right, and you usually need to be there to fix it.

Finally, live webinars are excellent to get some real urgency going with your offer. I have lost trust with many marketers pretending to run a live webinar, when in fact it was recorded. At the end of that webinar, the marketer told me, “This offer closes this Thursday.” But the next week, I saw a link to the exact same recorded webinar with the exact same scarcity… that the offer closed on Thursday. Avoid this by running a live webinar. It will do you some good, it will give you more speaking practice and it will get you more confident in pitching your offer.

You need to run your own live webinars instead of recorded ones because they are easier, show your personality, and show real urgency which will go a long way towards building trust with your subscribers and customers.

Webinars are a great way to get more exposure to your web site and business as well as a great way to create additional product offerings or bonuses for your business as well. Webinars can also be used to provide educational help to your target market. One of the best ways to use webinars however, is to make sure they are recorded so that they can take advantage of the “do it once, get paid over and over again” type of product – or the residual income model. Read on as the author talks about how to record your webinar so you can get the most advantage out of it.

Trying to record your webinar?

Let me show you a few tricks, but first, here are some reasons why you would want to record your webinar in the first place:

- Replays

Many people who couldn’t attend your webinar live are still interested in your products or services. So, providing a replay is a great way to get more sales and even have your customers pass the replay along to others virally.

- Product Creation

A webinar recording makes a great stand-alone product when you upload it to a password protected site or burn it to a CD.

- Training Module

This one is related to “product creation” above. Record a webinar so you can add the recording to an existing product or perhaps extra training on a specific topic. You could even record webinars and use them as bonuses to give away with the purchase of one of your major products.

So, how to record a webinar?

Some webinar hosting companies have a recording feature built in, but you always want your own recording as a back up. And strange as it may sound, your recording may higher quality.

Step 1: Login into your webinar host as the organizer and start your webinar

Step 2: Using a SECOND computer, login as an attendee to your own webinar

The second computer needs to have screen capture software such as Camtasia so that you can capture your webinar that is now showing on the screen. Screen capture software will capture all of the video and audio from your webinar – and allow you to turn it into whatever file type you need.

Step3: On your second computer that is recording your webinar, set your screen parameters and audio settings and hit “record”.

Make sure you set your audio to record “inline” and use a 1/8 to 1/8 audio jack to “trick” the computer into recording only the webinar and not your voice when presenting on the other computer. Otherwise you would have to out the recording computer in another room that is completely quiet!

But if you plug one end of the 1/8″ cable into the mic jack and the other end of the 1/8″ cable into the headphone jack, you can set the recording computer right next to you and even see in real time what your attendees are seeing. This helps with lag problems and is a great safety check when presenting live.

Step 4: When finished recording, render the file either to burn to a CD or for uploading to the Internet.

You can also spice up your recording by adding music on the front end and back end. Make sure to use royalty-free so you don’t get in trouble. You can also add a “call to action” on the web page that has your webinar replay. This way, they don’t have far to go when they watch your replay and want to buy!

So, record your webinars and start watching your online or offline business explode using webinars!

If you are going to take the time to do a teleseminar, it is a good idea to record the teleseminar while you are doing it. The reason for this is that you can create a digital product to either sell or use as an incentive, or bonus for another offer you may have. One thing that the hosting provider will certainly need to do is to find some way to record the teleseminar. In this article, that author talks about some free teleseminar recording services that you can use. I haven’t tried these personally myself because I have now found webinars… Read on for more.

Deciding to host your own teleseminar to sell your products is one thing, and finding the resources to do so is quite another. Teleseminar hosting services vary far and wide, but as with most things the bottom line is frequently the bottom line. Here are a few hosting solutions that will help you get your products out there and make money doing it.

My first recommended resource is a website called Basement Ventures. It is very simple to get signed up as a user and once you’re a member you can start setting up and recording your teleseminars. The process is very simple. Once you choose the time and date you will be issued an access code with a phone number and a bridge number. Once you have those you can conduct your teleseminar whenever you are ready.

The website will allow you up to 250 callers at one time and there is absolutely no charge for recording it. The recordings comes in MP3 format and usually takes about an hour and a half to process and make available to you.

The only downside to using this service is that the call in phone number is long distance, as opposed to being a toll free number. If this is a problem for you then you can always pay for a different service which offers the toll free numbers for your use.

By using this service to produce and record your teleseminars you will automatically have a leg up on the competition and be able to make money time and time again with the same basic strategy.

Gavin J. King is the creator of make money teleseminar and creates e-books designed to assist internet marketers increase their success. With a broad range of experience and knowledge to draw from his products and articles are helpful and enjoyable. Gavin J. King likes writing articles about work from home and other web-based, worthwhile pursuits.

This will let you record the teleseminar; however, you cannot edit it later, if you want to make any changes to the recording. There are several no cost services you can for this form of recording. Teleconference bridge lines are …

When producing a teleseminar, not only are there many teleseminar companies to choose from, but there are also auxiliary companies as well that you may want to use for your service, such as transcribing, or web site designing. So first starting with the bridge line providers will give you a clue as to whether you will need any of the other kinds of service providers. In this article, the author discusses some of the different services that are out there. I feel the ones that are listed are ok. I’m not sure if they are the best, but they will more than likely serve your pursoses.

When it comes to bridge line companies, there are several companies to choose from. Black and White is one. Eagle Teleconferencing is another. However, the best and most reliable service on the market is VoiceText.

With Voice Text, you will get great service and the exact number of lines you want, without worrying about disconnecting or a lack of line guarantee. If you want 200 lines, you will get 200 lines; if you want 500 lines, then you will get 500 lines. It’s as simple as that.

Benefits to Voice Text

There are two main benefits to choosing Voice Text over other companies’ services. First and foremost, Voice Text is the least expensive for the service you are getting. You get what you pay for. Although Voice Text is not the least expensive, period, it is the most cost efficient in the grand scheme of things.

Second of all, Voice Text offers you IM (instant messaging) support with Microsoft Messenger. The worst thing to have happen is your bridge lines go down. If this does happen, you can instantly connect to a Voice Text technician who can help you. Technicians are continuously going back and forth to ensure that everything is running smoothly. This is a relief when it comes to hosting large teleseminars.

Your Cheapest Bridge Line Company Option

For those who are not willing to pay for a bridge line company, there is another option. This is SellFromYourSeat.com. You will forgo the start up fee with SellFromYourSeat. However, keep in mind that although the company does claim they can guarantee your lines, they actually cannot. The lines are given to a shared environment and thus you may not receive what you are expecting.

If you are willing to take the chance, and want to skip the start up fee, then SellFromYourSeat.com is your best bet. However, if you want the most for your money and a guarantee in service, then you cannot go wrong with VoiceText.com

When hosting a teleseminar, there are many services that are available to fit your needs. Some teleseminar hosting services are free and some of them cost money. There are plusses and minuses for each of them. In order to determine which one is best for your purposes (and no, free isn’t always the best way to go). you will need to understand your needs and what the different services offer. This article discusses a free conference calling service called Free Conference Pro. Read on for more:

So your thinking of setting up an online business. There are so many things you must do to get ready to have your business on the internet and I’ll talk about some of those in the other blog posts. (Search the Categories Section) But when I first started online, like many others, I searched for low-cost or free resources that could help me get started without having to take on a second mortgage!

One of those resources is conference calling. Many online entrepreneurs use teleclasses and webinars to promote their business or to just stay in touch with members of their community and sometimes even with their virtual team. I have tried several conference calling services, and have found Free ConferencePro to be the best free service for me.

Free ConferencePro has many of the same features of the paid conference calling services, so you don’t have to give up quality. Here are some of the great features I enjoy each time I hold a teleseminar:

Personal Dashboard – you can schedule meetings, access recordings, access reports of past meetings, and set your call preferences, like whether your callers will hear music while they wait or if the callers are muted or unmuted.

With all of the terminology of webinars, teleseminars, teleconferencing, webcasts, and web conferencing, a small business owner caould get lost and confused as to which one would be the best for their business. There have been many articles on webinars and teleseminars. This article focuses on what is a webcast and how to put on a webcast. Read on for more on what equipment is involved and when would be the best time to do one.

A webcast is simply a broadcast over the internet. The term was coined in the 1990s when the internet first started to dominate the lives of individuals throughout the world. Today you can see a webcast just about everywhere you look on the internet. Most news outlets are now using video to report their news stories instead of print.

If you want to do this, it is relatively easy to do. You can simply get a digital camcorder and film your webcast. Then you can download the video into the computer and even display it free on places like You Tube as well as a number of other outlets. You can even use a webcast to promote a product or conduct an online seminar.

Some people use this technology to teach a class. More and more colleges are using this technology to teach certain classes so that students can learn from their computers. This is the wave of the future and as camcorder prices have reached an all time low, as have computers, we can expect more video stars to come out of the woodwork.

In order to create a webcast, you first need a script. You should also practice the script several times before filming. You want to make sure that it looks professional. While you may not want to look stiff and rehearsed, you also do not want to be stumbling over words with “uh” and “um” every few seconds because it will turn off a viewer.

You should have the camera on a tripod or some other stationary area. Someone holding it and filming you is going to give you shaky images and make your viewers dizzy. The camera should be stationary.

Backgrounds should be neutral and background noise non existent. There are sound stages that you can rent or you can make your own. You want the webcast to look professional. Unless it is part of the video, noise and other distractions should be eliminated.

Get yourself some good video editing software. This can help you actually eliminate any noise or any other problems with the video. Video editing software is a must if you are going to do your own web casts in the future. You will recoup the cost of the software in no time flat, especially if you are paying someone to edit your film.

A webcast can be used just about anywhere on the internet. Anywhere you can put text, you can put film. You can use it on your website to advertise your product, you can put it on free video sites such as YouTube for self promotion or you can also use it as an instruction tool. It stores like text and is easy to use. Video editing software is not expensive and is, for the most part, user friendly.

You no longer have to be a computer expert to webcast on the internet. And there are so many different things you can use the videos to promote, even yourself. Just get your script ready and away you go.

Webinar applications are gaining greater foothold as a marketing or training tool among home-based businesses. Its low relative cost and the ability to connect people who are in geographic diverse locations make it a more attractive option than traveling to a common location. Webinars can also be used for troubleshooting sessions between an expert and a user.

One of the most useful features of a webinar application is the ability to view another user’s computer screen for troubleshooting or training. Often the communication can get confusing when using only the telephone especially if the customer is a novice computer user. Sometimes the communication can be imprecise and lead to misunderstanding. The confusion can be remedied by the use of a webinar as long as a fast internet is used such as DSL or a cable internet connection.

When working with a few people or a limited budget, free solutions can provide the answer. One of the more useful free webinar applications out there is Mikogo. I have been using Mikogo recently to troubleshoot a user’s installation issue and to perform a one-on-one training session. Mikogo is free to use and offers a simple interface to navigate. Simply sign up, install the application and start scheduling virtual meetings.

There is a limit of ten people who may join a Mikogo session so this is fine for small meetings and limited budgets. If the needs are to connect a larger group of people, then the fee-based applications is the way to go. There are a few big players to choose from such as WebEx, Adobe Connect or Go To Meeting. I have seen as many as 500 people join a WebEx session.

Live face to face meetings have additional advantages such as better audience engagement and deeper learning, but webinars have found their place as a supplement to live meetings to help reduce travel expenditures. They have also earned a valuable place as a troubleshooting tool for long distance assistance.

Video web conferencing is a growing trend as the costs come down and the technology increases as well as the compatibility. This growing trend allows everyone to become more and more connected remotely. Teams from all over the world can meet and collaborate on projects. There are also a number of other things that can be accomplished for entrepreneurs, such as lead generation and sales. The use of video web conferencing services is almost endless. This article discusses how this trend is growing and what it is being used for. Read on for more.

It’s important for businesses to keep up with communication trends in order to grow and stay competitive in this tight economy.

One of the fastest-growing technology trends in communication is live video conferences. According to top industry analysts at Wainhouse Research, it’s growing at a rate of 24% per year.

Interactive video conferences allows you to meet with someone in Germany, Japan, and New York (or any other location you need) all at the same time – right from the comfort of your office or home. And the best part is no one has to spend thousands of dollars in travel costs or fly in a cramped flight for 18 hours.

Web conferencing makes it easier for businesses to get your work done and to close more deals quickly. Isn’t every business looking for ways to boost your bottom line, stay ahead of their competitors, and be more efficient?

Plus, video conferencing is now affordable for the smallest of budgets. Because many services are now web-based, the cost is much lower than just a few years ago and the video quality has vastly improved. All you need to hold an online video meeting is a computer or laptop, a reliable internet connection, and a web cam if you want to be seen.

Also, it doesn’t take an IT person to host a meeting or download or configure complicated software. Most services take under 3 minutes to install and are extremely user-friendly and simple to use – even for a beginner.

Not only can you see, hear, and communicate with more than one person at a time online, you can also review documents, power point presentations, anything on your desktop, just like you would in person.

Face to face communication is important for any type of negotiation and is more effective than impersonal teleconferencing or emails. Being able to see the person you are talking to builds trust and loyalty.

Imagine being able to meet with someone from Taiwan in the morning, someone from France in the afternoon, and someone from Washington in the late afternoon – all in the same day! Without either participant having to leave their office.

Businesses are quickly adopting video web conferencing as an essential tool to save time and increase productivity. In addition to helping to save the environment. One online meeting between 5 people saves 20 tons in carbon emissions. Not to mention the convenience and less paper wastage.

Video web conferencing is no longer a luxury service, but an essential and vital tool for organizations planning on expanding their business worldwide. Top Industry Analysts at Wainhouse Research predict that “Desk-top computer video conferencing software will be as essential to your business as your phone, fax, and email.”

Because online web meetings save both time and money, it’s becoming more popular and accepted as a replacement for meeting in-person. More and more businesses are meeting online every day. So if you want to keep up with the latest trend in business communication, and not be left behind your competition, why not consider implementing video web conferencing today?

Check out the cost savings of meeting online HERE. Plus, here is the best video web conferencing solution to get your business done…including 2 FREE web cameras… at an affordable $49 per month for 50 guests Video Live Conferences.

Choosing the product you are going to sell on your teleseminar is your first major step. After that it will probably fall in line. Considering you have many spin off products from the ebook, let us just say that your product will be an ebook for this example.

Hosting is a biggie too!

Once you have chosen your product you can move onto the more technical aspects of your teleseminar. Hosting is one major consideration in the process. There are several paid hosting sites, but I would go with a free service like thebasementventures.com. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for, and with the paid services you get a really good set of options and things you can change, but we are going to assume you have a small budget. Once you have chosen your hosting service, now you can focus on your auto-responder.

Do not forget your auto-responder!

Using an auto-responder to help manage and market your service is absolutely vital to your success as a teleseminar marketer. Not only will the auto-responder continually build your list of attendees automatically, but it will allow to you communicate tempting offers and incentives prior to it, which continually established communication and builds anticipation for your teleseminar. You can build your list through a web page that will give all the details and convince people to attend, and they register through the embedded form on your page.

Additionally, the auto-responder is the way that they will receive the information that will allow them to log onto the teleseminar and you may want to include a reminder at the bottom of each contact you send them with that information.

A little more about your squeeze and sales pages

You want to make sure that your squeeze page and your sales pages add value to your product. Now, I know that you will basically be using your teleseminar as your sales pages, but do not miss out on ancillary sales that direct traffic may bring you by not having a valid sales page up. Also, you will be driving the people who attend the teleseminar to purchase from your sales page, so you have to have it up anyway for that.

Your sales page needs to briefly cover similar information that will be presented in your teleseminar, the biggest difference should be the bonuses that attendees will get from you. You should always make attending your teleseminar more alluring than just reading the sales page so that people are enticed to buy while attending.

The final detail may be the most important detail

The day of the week that you plan your teleseminar may be as important as any other detail. If you plan your teleseminar for 4 AM Eastern time, you can bet you will have very few attendees, so logically the time of day should be early evening, when most people are not at work. Even after 8 PM works for many people. Planning your teleseminar for the middle part of the week seems to be the most successful timing window. Plan your event for a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening and you will have more people attend.

The basic techniques and strategies are the same ones that the most successful Internet marketers use to sell and market their own products, but also any products they are affiliates for.
